Gorge are experienced suppliers and installers of cold rolled roof purlins and wall side rails. Our experienced estimating and engineering teams can provide value engineering options, craft specialist lift plans and domain expertise which takes into the interactions with roof and wall systems.

We are familiar with Metsec and Kingspan systems which are most frequently specified, amongst others, and have 30 years-experience installing cold rolled steelwork alongside our core Hot Rolled structural steelwork frames.

Gorge can carry out all types of roof and wall cladding systems such as composite panels, rainscreen systems, including single and double skin built-up sheeting systems.

We are approved by the main UK suppliers such as Kingspan and Euroclad. We also carry out single ply membrane systems such as Kingspan Topdek.

Gorge offer material supply and installation of industrial, commercial and residential concrete floor slabs across the following domains

Gorge can provide temporary edge protection as part of its instruction on the metal decking. We are most often contracted to provide either an underslung system or a bolted web fixed system – which is coordinated through our steel detailing.

We can provide the installation, dismantling and cross hire of edge protection systems. The central coordination via our steelwork package ensures that design [of web fixed systems] and installation is more efficient via a single installation programme.



Gorge regularly install internal / mezzanine floors using a combination of Hot Rolled structural steelwork, metal decking, precast units or cold rolled floor joists.

Gorge’s experienced team can supply and install SFS systems under a combined steelwork package. It is a perfect complement for its existing team and capabilities.

Steel Framing Solution (SFS) are a fast track steel stud panel framing system which is often installed as an infill between the primary steelwork frame and provides a carrier for insulation, external cladding and interior boarding.

Cold-rolled galvanized steel sections are typically supplied to site as individual components which are assembled in-situ, cut to length or supplied in standard lengths which are then cut to suit on site.
